Ford Field is the premier family entertainment destination committed to providing unparalleled service by exceeding the expectations of each of our guests. Ford Field works to continually create unique and exciting experiences in a fun, friendly environment. Ford Field was built in 2002 to be the official home of the NFL Detriot Lions and was designed to incorporate the existing site infrastructure, the Hudson warehouse.
Parking Accessibility
Accessible parking is available on game days in Lot 4 and the Ford Field Parking Deck. Spots are available on a first-come, first serve basis to our guests with the appropriate permit and a state-issued license plate or placard. Parking facilities are ADA compliant.
Restroom Accessibility
Most restrooms and all family restrooms are accommodated with wheelchair accessible facilities.
Wheelchair Accessibility
Entrance: The Drop-off and Pick-up areas are located on the corners of Montcalm and Brush near Gate B at Section 133, and Adams and John R outside of Gate A at Section 100. Inform the Parking Directors that you are going to the drop-off & pick-up area. Seating: Ford Field provides wheelchair accessible and companion seating for guests.
Wheelchair Rental
Wheelchairs are available for transporting guests from the Guest Services locations to their stadium seats but will not be available for use during the event. Guests can be picked up at the conclusion of the event and brought back to the gate. They must contact the nearest Guest Services representative or usher.
ASL Interpreter
Guests requiring special ADA accommodations including ASL interpreters for Ford Field shows/events and concerts should contact Guest Services no later than three weeks before the day of the show or event for appropriate accommodation purposes.
Elevator
There are 15 elevators, 8 escalators, and 5 accessible ramps located throughout the stadium.
Assisted Listening Device
Guests can obtain Assisted Listening Devices at Gates A, B, C, E & G from Guest Services. Additionally, closed captioning is provided for guests during Lions home games. A TTY phone is available next to the payphone located at Gate G section 112.
Sensory Kit
Ford Field has partnered with Bose to put sensory kits with noise cancelling headphones available to rent at Guest Services.
Service Animal
Certified service animals are allowed in this venue.
